If you haven’t figured it out by now, I am an employee of American Eagle Outfitters and I just so happened to dress from head-to-toe in AE clothing today. Not planned at all. I just kept pulling items out of my closet and they happened to be AE. I love that there is a three way mirror at work and great lighting so that I can get some decent photos every once in awhile as long as I can sneak them in without getting caught. Aren’t my lanyard and headset cute? No, those aren’t my chosen pieces of jewelry, I am required to wear them. They’re always a damper on my style.

DSC_0238**Another final blurry picture that I just love because it’s featuring my main man in my life, Bentley! I love when I pick him up and he smells my face intently. I can get in as many kisses as I want (before he looses interest)!

>>>I wore this outfit to work and where I wasn’t fully in love with it, I figured it was better than yoga pants (which are technically frowned upon to work in)! The blouse underneath was a last minute decision because I wasn’t happy with just a tank top underneath. However, if I would have known the sleeves would have kept on unrolling throughout the day, I would have just stuck with the tank top.

**I know this picture is blurry but I actually liked it so it’s making it’s appearance. Being a self photographed style blogger is more difficult than it looks. I need to get better at non blurry photos. Mental note made.

The Beginning

I’ve decided that I’m going to start taking photos of what I wear and blog about it. I’m not necessarily going to do so everyday as this is more for myself. I read somewhere, can’t exactly remember where I saw it, that if you document what you wear then you will always strive to look your best (or something like that). In following that little piece of advice, I thought I would try to document what I wear in hopes that every time I leave my apartment, I will be looking fine and be confident in my outfit. No more leaving in sweats. Those are strictly for around the apartment. :)

So here I go with my first outfit post. I had been thinking about a different way to wear this adorable chevron shirt I got a few months ago other than with leggings for a few days when it finally hit me! Why not pair it with my red jeggings, to add some color and top it off with my puffer vest; I don’t get too many opportunities to wear that either so it was a win win situation. I tied it off in the front because it made it look better. The shirt is actually an XL so it was way too long in the front. I left it untied in the back, I liked the longness back there better! It covered my butt so that was also a win win situation. :) Hope you like what you see.

**I forgot to take actual pictures with my Nikon before I changed into my pjs, so this iPhone picture will have to do for today. I promise to remember to take better pictures in the future.
